Departing at 18:00 from Via Tomadini, in the heart of Udine’s university district, this guided walking tour takes participants into the historic city centre, through picturesque streets and squares steeped in history and local atmosphere.
The tour will pass through Piazza Duomo and by the Palazzo Municipale, before reaching Piazza Matteotti, the city’s lively social hub. From here, the route continues along Via Mercatovecchio, Udine’s oldest commercial street, leading to Piazza Libertà, a beautiful example of Venetian-style architecture, where participants will admire the Loggia del Lionello and the Clock Tower.
The walk then continues uphill through the Arco Bollani and along the Portico del Lippomano, leading to the top of the castle hill.
The tour concludes at Casa della Contadinanza at 20:00, where participants can enjoy the panoramic views over Udine and the surrounding area.
